some nights i have trouble sleeping. when that happens, i just pretend i'm at work, and...voila! problem solved.
Midnight: The rain is gone...as are the clouds. The wind has decided to stay a while longer, though. It's still blowing like hell out there, but it's really just kind of a warm, peaceful breeze. I think we'll take the garbage out now.

I graduated from Willamette University a year ago and am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. In the mean time, I'm in Japan teaching high school kids how to speak English...and they're teaching me how to be infinitely patient.

We had a couple of good storms in Texas as well. They say it would have to rain for a month to get to normal however. The last five years have been pretty dry. Damn us Republicans and our SUV's. I have updated our blog but I could have sent you 600 pictures. We had a great time.
